…to Solfest, not a review, but some thoughts…

At Solfest, you can pretty much have the experience you want, whether you have small children, don’t have children, love acoustic music, want to go to various excesses of toxicity, want to be healthy and coherent and attend yoga workshops, want to rock, listen to live world music, chill out all night in a psychedelic way or want to dance.

Too much partying: Hawkwind and onto Solfest…

But here we all were, in the middle of London,in the middle of the day, in a town which is half-way to being a chilling example of a police state, and yet one of the most political, anti-authoritarian bands ever, had escaped attention from the local coppers.

Behind the Mask or Perfectionism leads to Carnage (+Satan Cowell)

Hello Good People who read this blog
This is another personal rant written during a phase of insomnia due to my own troubled waters and smog over London city both keeping me awake. This is not about hippie counterculture but being one of the last surviving hippies living close to the roots of London’s alternative counterculture [...]

Hello Good people who read this blog
I just made a complete and total arse of myself online…a stupid story. But maybe fated.
In the process of being an idiot I just found out that Jason Stuart, keyboard player from Hawkwind died today after a sudden illness.

Please send a loving thought his way and to all those [...]

Disappearing Acts, Bad Trips and Hawkwind

Hello Good People who read this blog

Matthew Wright  ( fan of Hawkwind and Here & Now and plain-clothed hippie) of Channel 5’s The Wright Stuff has been back on the TV since Monday . It’s nice to see he is still alive, raising contentious issues and alternating between making my blood boil to making me [...]

Freaky Coincidence? The Wright Stuff with Matthew Wright

Hello Good People who read this blog!
Something just happened that has freaked me out ( man!)
At 2.a.m. this morning I put up my last blog post about Frestonia, but also I asked if journalist and tv presenter Matthew Wright was a secret anarchist hippie ( although he is also an openly male chauvinist piggie!). [...]
